Filming Blog

I filmed with my groupmates on 11-30-20. I was able to do my own filming and the group filming in one day. We went to Galleria mall and it was a fun experience the whole time. I enjoyed being able to film with friends because it made the filming time go faster. For my separate video, I bought something to show my "independence". It will show that I don't need a man or someone to support me because I'm an independent woman. The video could've had some work done but I honestly didn't know what to do for my video. Sarah was the person to film me buying my item. She took an over the shoulder shot just so we wouldn't take the cashier's face in the shot. We took 2 different clips of me buying and then taking the item. My individual shot was very simple and quick. I wish there was a way to show me buying it a little more clearly but we did what we had to do. It was also very easy to film. It was easy to film because it was just us at the mall it seemed like. ...

Storyboard for my music video

  First Scene:   For our first scene, it’ll establish us as “Destiny’s Child”. All four group members will be  at the mall letting the camera pan across them. We don’t have a transition yet but there will be a smooth transition guiding us  into the next scene.   Second Scene:  For the second scene, there will be a close up  shot of Sarah in her work uniform and her work logo.  She will be talking to a costumer and answering their questions .   This scene will include a reverse zoom ,  a point of  view from the costumer’s  eyes , and an over the shoulder shot when the costumer is paying .  Another transition will happen at the end of this scene also.   Third Scene:   In the third scene, Julie will be shopping in the mall.  There might be a man trying to pay for the things she  is   buying  bu t she declines his offer. This is to show  that she doesn’t need a man to buy her things.  Sh...
