Storyboard for my music video

 

First Scene: For our first scene, it’ll establish us as “Destiny’s Child”. All four group members will be at the mall letting the camera pan across them. We don’t have a transition yet but there will be a smooth transition guiding us into the next scene. 


Second Scene: For the second scene, there will be a closeup shot of Sarah in her work uniform and her work logo. She will be talking to a costumer and answering their questions. This scene will include a reverse zoom, a point of view from the costumer’s eyes, and an over the shoulder shot when the costumer is paying. Another transition will happen at the end of this scene also. 


Third Scene: In the third scene, Julie will be shopping in the mall. There might be a man trying to pay for the things she is buying but she declines his offer. This is to show that she doesn’t need a man to buy her things. She’s independent enough to do things for herself.  


Fourth Scene: In our fourth scene, the camera will be taking a low camera angle shot. St-Flore will be practicing on a track. It will be a short clip of her running.  


Fifth Scene: In our fifth scene, there will be a framing of the dancers dancing. Sydney will be in the middle showcasing what independence is to her. There will be a smooth transition from this dancing scene to the final scene. 


Sixth Scene: For our final scene, there will be one big shot with all four actors. They will be in the dressing rooms playing dress up and portraying that they’re having the time of their lives. The actors will be color coordinated just like an original Destiny’s Child video. A master shot will be used to show everyone.

The movie “Juno” was researched on  www.artofthetitles.com  because of our genre Drama.  To start off , there  are 23 titles that appear during the opening sequence.  They include   the directors, producers, actors and title of the show. There  are  a few others named but basically everyone who had a role in the making of the film is name. The  images  that are prioritized in the opening scene is Juno   only really. She’s the only  c ha racter that the camer a  is focused on the whole entire time.  Things around her is being edited and she’s depicted sort of grey.  She’s just walking drinking a jug of  lemonade  along the way.  It also makes me wonder if the lemonade is anything significant.  The connotation these images carry is that the film is mostly centered on Juno. Welcome back, after going through all the other steps with us, it's only fair you get to see the finished product. This blog is to talk about more thoughts that went through our heads when making this video. One thing my group mates and I could proudly say is that it did not turn out bad. We realized that things may not always happen the way you plan them, so you must always have a backup plan just in case. This video was a success in many different ways. This video pushed us to learn new skills. We were able to keep each other on top of our work and getting things done on time. Working on a task together with friends made the task way more enjoyable. The workload and stress are also dimmed down if the work is split correctly. We didn’t want one group member to have a heavier workload than another. We made sure that each group member was doing the same amount of work throughout this process. It also allowed us to have learning experiences outside of the classroom. Not everyone poss...

Genre Research: Black Panther

Welcome back to my blog. These next few blogs will be about movies my group and I chos e to research and use to build our opening scene on.   The first  movie we chose was Black Panther. The first thing that the audience  hears is a child and their parent voice.  The story turned out to be the  background  story  of where the dad is from  Wakanda . Which  leads the movie to a sandbox  type  of thing that  demonstrated  and drawn out everything the dad was saying as he was saying it.  Once the story was done being told, the year and place of the Movie was displayed on the scree n, 1992  California.  During this  the audience can clearly see the relationship between the characters.
