VANS Commercial

This project was totally different from my genre project. I had to do everything on my own and without guidance which was scary and cool at the same time. The scariest part was me not wanting to put my pride aside and ask for help. I wanted to do it all on my own and I don't know if that help or hurt me more. I learned a lot during this experience and I will always remember this project. Looking at my project, I see where I could have done a lot more. My production skills and editing skills aren't the best but I really did try which is why it's sad to me. Plus, the time change really ruined the feeling I was going for but I didn't let it stop me. I also don't like how I didn't notice the quality shift in my upload. The beginning is very grainy while the other half is fine for some reason. I'm pretty sure, my phone uploading the video is the reason but it sucks. I really wanted everything to be perfect. Was it? Not at ALL! But, for my first time really being director, I'm proud. A lot of things didn't go my way. For example, waiting for my actress to show up, the time change and just putting my vision to life was hard. But we prevailed. We have our first real commercial and I'm super proud of it. To the VANS team, watch out! I'm coming for your jobs.
