Production Blog

Welcome back to my blog. From the last blog, you know filming was a complete fail. After reviewing my failed attempt, I could tell what I did wrong. So this time when I was rerecording, I tried to be mindful of those errors. First thing I did was imagine myself in an actual conversation. I did this so I could get my timing right when I was responding. I also got my lighting to be much better. I didn't want the lighting to be complete opposite of the mood. I also tried my best to put my phone camera in a better position. I was able to capture more of my body and actions that way. I was definitely more determined this time around. I just wanted to get the video done and correctly at that. I recorded the video maybe 2 more times. My second attempt was much better. I reviewed it and sent it into our groupchat. I allowed my groupmates to give me constructive feedback which I listened to. After I collected their feedback, I looked back to my video to make sure their opinions were valid. They felt like I was speaking too lowly and I acknowledged the camera. I felt like I hit square one again. But I appreciated their efforts to making sure I turned in my best.
