  How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? -   My product uses conventions by having on heavy display the song "Independent Women Pt. 1" and having the matching outfits and more. Things that bring in the idea of Destiny's Child as a group. Having little moments where we seem real close was important because Destiny's Child always came off as a sisterhood and nothing less. It represents the teen social group or just anyone that's a fan of Destiny's Child because it's a Destiny's Child song.   How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?  -  My product doesn't engage with any audiences because a music video very rarely does. If anything, the only way I can think of it engaging with an audience is maybe if we had incorporated "fans" into the video. A music video is usually all about the artist and their art. Planning for my music video

  The next step of our project is planning .  T his is the time where we  think of which  conventions,   we  want to incorporate  and which ones  we will  le a ve out.  There  were a  lot of conventions   seen and noted . However, we can only fit so much into a minute-long vide o .    Props:  Since the song is about women getting  what they  desire  through their own  earnings, the  scene  where  we a re  at the mall  props such  as  money , shopping bags ,  and what we buy will be used. Planning storyboard for my VANS commericial

  What is our commercial is trying to get across? VANS aren't just a skater shoe nor is it just a casual shoe. VANS can be used for any occasion because that's how well made they are. They are meant for ANY occasion. VANS even though they do target one specific audience is open to everyone.  First scene: During this scene, we will be filming someone walking around with one pair of Vans. If we have a skateboard as a prop, we will have the model pose with their foot on it or simply have it around them. Second scene:  This commercial will show the model running around and doing different types of activities in their Vans shoes. Showing the versatility and durability of the shoes.  Third scene: Any other VANS products we have available will get their spotlight. Fourth scene: The shoes will get the spotlight in this scene.
